Collects the tales in UK comic #9 and #10, called "Waking Nightmare". Lion-O has nightmares of a creature that attacks his friends and he is unable to help them. He wakes from his dreams, shaken and tired, and unsure whether he should tell the other Thundercats. This book features three Marvel Thundercat adventures. The first is the full story called Waking Nightmare ( first released as UK comics #9 and #10).
The second story is called The Memory Crystal, and I believe it's also a reprint from the UK issued books. Anyway, it involves Bengali and the Berbils mainly. Apparently, Bengali is starting to remember how he was rescued by Berbil technology from Thundera which is actually a bad thing. Robearbill shows Bengali an underground cavern under the Berbil Village where the little bears store amazing technologically advanced gadgets and a memory crystal. The function of the Crystal is to erase the memomories of Berbil technology for anyone who has come up against it. Berbils, it's explained, used to be evil and used their know-how to bring much harm. Now that they're peace loving, they wish to forever hide their great technology from others so that no one can ever use it for evil again. But if the crystal isn't healed, everyone will get their memories back (as Bengali had) which could spell disaster. The only thing that can heal the crystal is the Eye of Thundera, so Bengali agrees to steal the Sword of Omens to help. He's caught trying to by Lion-O and after a struggle, Lion-O gives Bengali the Star of Thundera instead as its more powerful than the Sword. In the end, the crystal is healed and everyone once again forgets how swell Berbil technology is.
Lastly, there's the Marvel version of The Astral Prison. However, it is vastly different from the televised version. In this tale, Jaga is tricked into an Astral jail cell by Mumm-Ra and can only be released if one finds the master key buried deep within Third Earth. Trouble is, to free Jaga one also frees unmentionable evil also trapped in the cell (apparently, it's easy to get in the cell, but once in you're trapped w/o the key. Hence why Mumm-Ra never attempted to free the evil before). Meanwhile, Lion-O dreams of a lady called Gemini (as with the TV version, this lady helper is Mumm-Ra in disguise just like the Netherwitch) who shows him Jaga's predicament and what he must do to free him. Lion-O awakes and heads to the Cave of Sorrows, where the key is supposedly hidden - a place so fearsome Mumm-Ra dares not go there. Either way, Mumm-Ra figures the ThunderCats are finished. Despite being warned to preserve the Sword of Omens' powers, Lion-O drains it fighting off the beasts in the cave but he does succeed in getting the key. Once he grabs the key, he's transported to the Astral Plain where Jaga warns him not to use it to free him. It would seem Lion-O decides he can't risk releasing the evil and throws away the key. Mumm-Ra gloats that he's still won, as Jaga is trapped...until Lion-O puts the Sword through the bars of the prison and Jaga funnels into the Eye while Mumm-Ra was distracted by the tossed Key. Then Jaga uses his own powers to make Mumm-Ra believe the Sword is back at full power. He flees and all is well.
