#13 BACK TO THUNDERA PART 1
Download the issue in pdf format.
Issued 13 June 1987
Written by Gerry Conway. Art by Delbo, DeMulder/Barras & Scotese
This issue is a reprint of US Star comic issue #7. Please note a repost of the issue synopsis below:
In another back-in-time adventure, Lion-O and Cheetara venture back to ancient Thundera. They manage this feat when investigating a strange disturbance on a dark mountain near the Berbil Village. Of course, Mumm-Ra is behind it all, even going so far as to separate the Thundercats via a rockslide. His hope is that while Lion-O and Cheetara are gone, the other 'Cats will be destroyed by strange insectoid creatures. Homesickness motivates the pair to step through the tear in time atop the mountain, and at first, Lion-O and Cheetara are thrilled to be back on Thundera - even if it was several millenia before either were born. They also bond
with some natives, saving one's life in the process (one would have to wonder what such an act would do to history heh heh). It wasn't until nightfall that they realize their place really is on Third Earth, and that you really can't go back home. They make it through the time rip just in time and rescue the others. Well, did you really expect any different? ;)

In true UK issue style, this is the conclusion of the story started in the previous book.
#15 TO THE VICTOR, THE SPOILS PART 1
Download the entire issue in pdf format. File size is 3MB.
Issued 27 June 1987
Written by Gerry Conway. Art by Delbo, Scotese
Once again, this is merely a reprint of a US issue, #8 to be exact. (See below for a repost of that synopsis).
The summary is made possible thanks to Axelle's Cats Corner website.
After a day of hard work on an aquaduct, the ThunderCats celebrate by some having some friendly competition. Unfortunately, the twins' victory quickly turns into a rivalry with the adult ThunderCats taking sides. While all this in-fighting is going on, the Mutants decide to attack the Lair and end up destroying the aquaduct and taking over the Lair. The ThunderKittens are also taken prisoner. Eventually, things are set right, but the end finds Lion-O musing aloud to Jaga if perhaps he's not a fit Lord because of the falling out. And apparently, Cheetara and Lion-O must have been among those who earlier disagreed because
they apologize to each other.
#16 TO THE VICTOR, THE SPOILS PART 2

Issued 4 July 1987
Written by Gerry Conway. Art by Delbo, Scotese
As one might guess, this is the conclusion of the US reprint #8
#17 ASSAULT ON THE ONYX PYRAMID PART 1
Download the entire issue in pdf format. File size is 2.7MB.
Issued 11 July 1987
Written by James Hill. Art by Griffiths, Place
In this issue, Mumm-Ra decides to set the ThunderCats straight by threatening their allies - so he goes and burns the Berbil Village. Enraged, Lion-O declares that the ThunderCats (save for Kit and Kat who stay on Lair watch duty) will go to the Black Pyramid to confront Mumm-Ra once and for all.
The problem is, it's a lot tougher than they thought. Once inside, Mumm-Ra has each ThunderCat a prisoner of an illusion so he can face Lion-O alone. But before he presumably takes care of Lion-O, Mumm-Ra lets him see what has happened to his friends: Cheetara is trapped in a room with no windows or doors...and the walls are closing in. Panthro is in a devastated Warrior Maiden forest; devastated by robots he had been building to protect his friends. Tygra is back at his apartment on Thundera, letting a pair of attractive ThunderCats (Leopara and Cougara) convince him to relax and forget about Lion-O.
If and when they escape their own hells born of illusion is revealed in the next issue...
#18 ASSAULT ON THE ONYX PYRAMID PART 2
Download the entire issue in pdf format. File size is 2.4MB.
Issued 18 July 1987
Written by James Hill. Art by Griffiths, Place
All illusions are revealed in this concluding issue, starting with the fact that Lion-O being in the Pyramid fighting Mumm-Ra was his own illusion to overcome. Once he realizes this, thanks to Snarf, he's able to use second sight to see the real danger lurking.
However, there's the issue of the others and it is the Eye of Thundera shining the light of truth that reveals the true dangers behind the other illusions - illusions designed to take advantage of each 'Cats weakness (Cheetara - confined spaces, Panthro - pride, Tygra - vanity).
Though they all overcome their struggles just in time, their assault on the Pyramid was a failed one.
#19 THE ENEMY BELOW PART 1
Download the issue in pdf format.
Issued 25 July 1987
Written by Gerry Conway. Art by Delbo, Breeding & Scotese
This issue is a reprint of US star comic #11. Following is a repost of that synopsis:
The summary is made possible thanks to Axelle's Cats Corner website.
Basically, moleman activity causes some catastrophes in and around the Lair. As Axelle pointed out on her site, the ThunderCats are acting rather out of character here when they plan an attack right away instead of investigating first. After more tremors cause them to fall into the realm of the molemen,
the fighting begins. In the end though, they unite against a bigger threat - something called the Midges.

This issue is a reprint of US comic #10, although that one was titled Graveyard of Memories
The Thundercats are out in the Hunting Plains searching for a rumpa to spare themselves the sameness of Snarf's Berbilfruit Stew for dinner. Lion-O is ready to pack it in without a catch, but Panthro won't give up. So they leave him to it.
On the way back to the Lair, however, the hunters become the hunted. A pack of vulturemen attack the group. They worry that Panthro is in for the same fate, off and isolated alone as he is...
Little do they know, but Panthro stumbles onto a different danger. An ancient, spiritual mess is what he gets himself into. Luckily, both his fellow Thundercats and Panthro manage to escape immediate peril, but Panthro still wonders if spirits can cause harm and finds out the truth all to harshly come morning.

Note: This is a reprint of US Star comic issue #12
The Thundercats go to the aid of the peaceable fisherfolk, the Nai, who are being terrorised by the Berserkers. Led by Horak the Axe-Wielder, their captain, the pirates captured the Nai and made them their slaves. Drella, a bubbly-haired member of the tribe, managed to escape and came asking the Thundercats for their help. Lion-O wants to go rushing to their aid, although Cheetara seems less than happy, accusing Lion-O of being swayed by Drella's beauty rather than using his head before involving the Thundercats in this war. Lion-O keeps his word, however, and before long, the Thundercats are battling the Berserkers at the Nai village. Meanwhile, Lion-O and Drella attempt to cut the pirates' ships loose, only to be attacked. In the fight, he loses the Sword of Omens and asks Drella to retrieve it for him. She says she can't, because being peaceful folk, she could never use a weapon. Back at the village, things are starting to go wrong and they wonder what's become of Lion-O. Still locked in his struggle with the pirate, he manages to break free at last, finally realising that Drella's unwillingness to fight is why she involved the Thundercats in this battle.

This is the conclusion to reprint of US Star comic issue #12
Seeing their ships floating away, the pirates hurry away from the village to retrieve them, although the Thundercats know that soon they will be back. While the Nai celebrate, Lion-O wonders what he is to do if the Nai won't help themselves. Jaga appears and reminds him that the strong must help the weak even if they won't protect themselves. The Berserkers return, this time intent on destroying the village and the Thundercats face them alone. Vastly outnumbered, the Thundercats realise they don't stand a chance, until suddenly the Nai have a change of heart and rush to join the battle. Lion-O takes on Horak in single combat, only to lose the Sword of Omens again. This time, Drella throws it back to him and he defeats Horak. The pirates leave, perhaps for good now the Nai have shown that they are capable of defending themselves.
