Mongor was always one of my favorite non regular villians from the show. I'm not sure why exactly. I do like that they had him surrounded by fire as that seemed to make him appear ungodly. It's seems that Mumm-Ra is used in this epsidoe only to make Mongor seem more important, and it works to an extent, but I think the episode would have been fine without him. The individual fights with all the TCats are pretty cool. The Thunderkittens' little portion of the plot didn't thrill me too much, but it didn't take away from the whole thing. Good epsidoe overall.

I loved this episode as a child! Mongor was one villain that actually managed to scare the hell outta me; probably because, living in a Spanish speaking country, Mongor looks just like the most bestialized version of Satan we have here. Other than that, it's very cool to see how Mongor kicks all the TCats asses until Lion-O manages to beat him with...the help of the Kittens? Overall a great episode.

I enjoyed this episode very much; it's another "Kat and Kit screw up" story and it's done quite well. Mongor didn't frighten me one little bit, and I noticed how Peter Lawrence uses the old Perseus-and-Medusa story from Greek mythology by making Mongor lose his power when you look at his reflection and not directly at him. Very good!
