2003 Update LogDecember 22, 2003 Finally well enough to post the Wildstorm update. Pics and notes on Origins: Villains and Heroes is now up. Updated the episode guide. Three new eps got reviewed, complete with their own image galleries. December 14, 2003 Another comic, another Wildstorm update. Nuff said. RD has added a brand new fic to the archives. Lionessa has begun to upload her 'Song of the Twins' to the site. Check them both out. The folks in TCATGR Chat tonight convinced me to put the portal to the chatroom back up. Its home is in the Fun Stuff area. I've started gearing up for the 2003 Fandom Awards. Updated Rules are up and fresh nomination tables at the Group's database awaits you. Lastly, I offered up another AVI set contest to subscribers of my newsletter. None of them seem to eager, so check out this simple page on what you can do to win a set. December 4, 2003 As if on cue, the Wildstorm area got an update to mark the coming of the first Origins book. Check it out. Knight Writer has started adding his fan fics back to the site. If you haven't checked out his wonderful, award winning crossover fic yet, do so now! The ThunderPoll got updated, complete with a brand new script where the comments area actually *works* The MST page got a few updates - one in the hate mail section and one in the fandom lamer area. My LJ page has seen more improvements. Check 'em out. November 20, 2003 The Superman/ThunderCats crossover comic came out today, and so I've updated that section of the site. The events calendar got updated with more comics release dates as well. I've added more to the Voltron AVI list, as I've been gaining episodes quickly the last few days. The ThunderLinks was updated again - dunno how I over-looked the Rankin-Bass link before, but thanks to Servali, it's up there now. Finally got my LJ moved to its own doman - did some revamping too. November 15, 2003 Oodles of Updates - first, the whole site got converted to css/php based set-up. Doesn't mean a lot to the visitor, but updating the links and looks of the pages will be hella easy for me now. But I would appreciate it if you'd tell me if you encounter broken links, etc. They're rather possible with an overhaul of this caliber and while I checked many of the pages for errors, I didn't have time to test 'em all. Thanks. Anyone linking to subpages of the site need to change their links from a .htm extension to a .php extension. Hammerhand's Revenge Issue #2 came out on Wednesday, and so I updated the Wildstorm section with a summary and scans. Enjoy. I added more art to my galleries and their new pieces - well, new if you don't read my LJ that is ;) The ThunderLinks was updated. Added a new site dedicated to Tygra by Robin Gurl and updated Lady Venus' Temple of the ThunderCats link. Speaking of linkage, I updated some of my own banners. The Balkan Jukebox got its own subdomain and a new layout, though it's still linked heavily from this page I thought it best that it have an independent site. Also getting their own subdomain are my fanlistings and collective pages. I added a link to my deviant art gallery and efanfiction contributions on the latter. The credits page got a few additions, including a link to the tutorial that showed me how to make the aforementioned php/css shift, in case aspiring webmasters are interested. October 30, 2003 Added a few pics to my galleries - only one is completely new, the two others are just re-colored in photoshop. Two are in the Fan Fic and Art gallery, the other is in the Signal Fic Picture Book. WileyKitt delivered the best birthday present for me ever, hehe. I'm starting to believe in the blessed year theory mwahahahaha!! October 28, 2003 The Fanfiction sections got a massive overhaul. New php scripting means people can get an account and upload and edit their own stuff. If you had your stuff here before, please take a moment to resubmit your work. It may take a bit for all the fics that were hosted here to reappear - please bear with us. I volunteered to run the ThunderCats Fanfiction Fan Listing. If you're a fan of any kind of TC fic, join the list. Updated the Wildstorm section with the final DOW entry and some sneak peek art for Hammerhand's revenge. Speaking of comics, added some release dates to the events calendar. October 19, 2003 I know it's been awhile since the last true update (just a lot of behind the scenes tweekings). Apologies. Anyway, pics and review of the new comic, Hammerhand's Revenge is up in the Wildstorm section. I took down the communications section from lack of interest. However, the Events calendar is still on the site - I moved it to the Eps & Info section. Another kind soul offered access to his server for my TCAVI group - and there's tons of toons to choose from. If you haven't joined the group, now's the time to join up and start downloading your favorite toon classic. Not really TC related, but I've started to make several fanlistings for music groups. Curious parties are welcome to check it out. September 25, 2003 Fan Fiction got another update - a story by RD Rivero and another installment of Knight Writer's Guyver crossover is up for your inspection. Issue 4 of Dogs of War came out today, and like clockwork I've got the cover images and a few bonus scans up in the Wildstorm section. Added a few things to my ThunderLinks page. I just uploaded several new games, plus revamped the Break Out and Picture Scramble pages. Check 'em out! September 19, 2003 As I noted on the tagboard, I installed a new ecard script. Now there's no annoying ads, and cute emoticons added to enchance your cards. Also added new guestbook gear (no ads - I kept a link to the old book, though) and changed the intro pages to the guestbook and guestmap. Added yet more stuff in the Wildstorm area. Found some more cover images to future issues of the yet-to-be-released Hammerhand's Revenge series. The TCATGR chat last night alerted me to an additional image for an upcoming issue dealing with the origins of the main characters - enjoy the sneaky peekies! Along the same vein, I added the release dates of several more issues of ThunderCats comics due out by Wildstorm to the events calendar. Converted the He-Man image galleries to the more user-friendly thumbnail based set-up. September 14, 2003 ThunderFan Fic got another update...this time the first two parts of Demonprist's revised epic, Two Faces of Evil, is added. Put up more stuff in the Wildstorm area -- added a few preview pics to the covers area and added to the Reclaiming Thundera synopsis now that I broke down and bought the damn thing. At long last, figured out what the heck was wrong with the Balkan Jukebox (a changed IP will do it!) and got it going. Also found a neat 'what's playing' script. Now you'll know when I'm on the air and what's playing! September 4, 2003 Updated the ThunderArt page with new offerings from Lioconvoy and Servali (aka Qiyyamat) A new issue of the Dogs of War comic came out last week, and so I have updated the Wildstorm section accordingly. Finally got the lyric archive to my main fan fic up to date. I got the message board up and running on my new server. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to restore the old database, so all old posts and users are gone. Sorry about that, but feel free to re-register. I've done tons of tweaking here and there, most of it is to the average surfer inconsequential, but to my perfectionist tail it was important, dammit!! August 25, 2003 A new edition of the TEB Bulletin is released. It contains the results of the 2003 Humor Olymics Tcat Avi Contest! Added yet another author to the fan fic archive. Go check out Lioness-A's fic debut, 'Song of the Twins'. Oh, and don't forget to vote in the new ThunderPoll once you chack out the latest TEB Newsletter. Put up a new section in downloads, which contain some tubes for Paint Shop Pro users. August 7th, 2003 Updated the Wildstorm section with scans and a synopsis of the current issue of Dogs of War. Added more fan fic - two from RD Rivero and a sizable contribution from Jesse Morgan, a writer new to this site's archive. Also fixed some links in the fan fic and ThunderLinks area. No biggie. August 1st, 2003 Added a new section in Downloads for LJ mood themes. Sure, I could make them public on LJ but that's no fun ;) Posted an additional drawing to Lioconvoy's art gallery. Revamped my music page quite a bit and added a long-needed concert review. Put up several voting awards I got from BOTA. Finally fixed and uploaded working copies of the Snarf music video (and revamped the page's layout) and the clip from Totem of Dera. July 21, 2003 Read the archive of the Brett Booth chat. Speaking of Brett, I updated his art gallery and Lioconvoy's as well. Check out the Thunder Art secion! I also did 3 new episode reviews. Yay. I've been doing more tweaking - installed a bit of javascript on some pages so users are no longer trapped in lycos's annoying frames after visiting the downloads area. Evil Lycos! Also moved some files around in the downloads area so that I have enough room for all the big media files. Give the site search a little time to reflect those changes. I also took a suggestion and now have my message board open fully and in a new browser window. I've moved the Dictionary once again and put the terms in a swell javascript. It's supposed to work in all browsers, too. I'm pretty happy with the set-up and shouldn't be changing it again anytime soon. Finally, did additional tweaking to my embedded Live Journal. Phew. July 13, 2003 I've opened an avi contest offered first to TEB subscribers to the fandom at large. Check my message board's games area to learn about how you can win a complete set of TC AVIs. Finally got my scanner cooperating, and so rounded out the Wildstorm comic area with new scans. Also scanned in some of my art I had lying around. My gallery got updated... ...and so did the Signal in the Sky picture book. Moved the BOTA and Diamond web award icons to the awards page. Vote for me, dammit. Otherwise, the minor remodeling is pretty much done. Hope you like the tweakings. July 9, 2003 You'll notice I've been tweaking the site design, making a bit simpler and removing some of the pics for faster loading. Hope you like the changes. Added some pics to my personal photo page. Some have already been in my LJ, but some have never before been published on the web. Totally re-did the Third Earth Bulletin archives. No more ads, no more clunky layout. And I've had a few people respond to my call for staff, so expect more large letters to be published in the future. Updated the ThunderPoll and got new polling gear while I was at it. Check it out. Added one more desktop wallpaper to the downloads area. June 28, 2003 Posted a review of the first issue of Dogs of War and otherwise messed with the Wildstorm page. I've only added pics that I got off the web, because my scanner is STILL giving me the electronic equivelent of the finger. Made a few more banner/button type things for linking purposes using the swell avatar Slinky made for me. Updated the MST page with more lameness thanks to randomly IMing morons. *sigh* Put up a playlist in the Balkan Juke area, which tells you exactly what I have available for immediate play. Now I just have to bother to air on a regular basis lol! Added another new site to my Thunderlinks, Guardians of Thundera, in addition to fixing a few links. Started a few threads on my Pumyra-like ignored message board. I figure maybe if I start caring about the place others might too, hehe. Tweaked the About Me page by adding some graphics and taking off that damn 'now playing' script for music that tanked. No biggie. Since I took out the navigating arrows in favor of scrollbars, I thought my tagboard might not interfere with the front page navigation anymore. We shall see how it works out this time. I also moved a bunch of files into different directories in an effort to better organize my server, so if you run into something that's not working or there anymore, let me know as that probably means I goofed LOL Revamped the Obsession test and Quiz in the funstuff area thanks to a java script cheezey let me use. Also added a brand new "What Evil Incarnation of Mumm-Ra are You?" quiz. June 20th, 2003 Posted a review of the last issue of the Return. No pics as of right now, because my scanner is giving me the electronic equivelent of the finger. Doh. Put up a few drawings in my art gallery -- they're pieces I had done for awhile but forgot to add to the site. Added WileyKitt's page to my Purrfect Picks on the links page - she's back and updating again. Awesome! Changed and updated the FAQ Page. No biggie. Updated the CD list in the Inside the Balkan Jukebox page...haven't resequenced the numbered order because I'm lazy, however. Made some changes to the top navigation that will make the site easier to navigate. Also took out the contribute page and moved the events page to the Communications section of the site. June 8th, 2003 Added a bunch of terms to the dictionary and put the entire thing in a new layout. Posted several more wallpapers in the new desktop area. You'll be able to tell I got a new photo editing program ;) New art was added to Lisa's gallery. She's improved quite a bit since the gallery was first made. Not that her stuff was bad before lol. More fic has been offered by RD Rivero. Check 'em out. I'd posted them in my LJ earlier, but I've officially added the next few parts of the Ronixis Script MST to the site. Finally, I took down the OTRPG page and replaced it with a new page devoted to the TCATGR. May 31st, 2003 Updated the Wildstorm page with Issue 4 and TC/BOTP cross reviews and images. Added a new section to downloads, featuring wallpapers for your desktop. May 20th, 2003 Thanks to all who voted for me in Battle of the Ancients. I moved up in the rankings, so keep lending your support! Speaking of BOTA, I put up an award from them on my awards page. The OTRPG has moved to a separate site -- check out the new look. Put up the latest installment of Knight Writer's War series. I've a fic update of my own...the sequel to Rid of Me is posted. May 9th, 2003 Updated the episode guide at long last. Four more snarky reviews have been added! Put up a new ThunderPoll and updated the 2003 archives. The events page has several comic release dates added to it. Lastly, I joined a website competition called Battle of the Ancients...click on the blinkie on the main menu page often to vote for my site :) May 3rd, 2003 More fic is up from Knight Writer. This time, read the hilarious full 'episode' of ThunderStoners. Put up a link in the About Purrsia area for a quiz. All the answers should be evident from this site, if you've been paying attention. I moved the TCAVI page to the downloads area. Also, I've started to upload classic He-Man eps to the AVI server. Speakin of avis, I've updated my He-Man list again -- I almost have all the classic eps! April 24th, 2003 Updated the Wildstorm section with images from #3 of The Return and wrote up a synopsis of it. Posted a current list of He-Man avis, plus updated nearly all the He-Man image galleries. The latest installment of 'One Last War to Fight' from Knight Writer is now up. Speaking of fic, Knight wrote a short aside to Chapter 16 of Signal in the Sky. Check it out. Stop by my Tcat avi page to sign up for the Yahoo Group associated with it - the server containing all 130 eps is up and running there! Updated my FAQ database. Specifically in the AVI, Fan Fic Submission and RPG areas. Revamped the About Purrsia page, mostly condensing trivia and factoids about yers truly from all those surveys I've been filling out lately. Finally, more profiles have been updated or added in the RPG area. April 17th, 2003 First of many updates includes a brand new section for the Wildstorm comics. Pics, cover images, and synopses await you. I found a neat plug-in for my winamp player/broadcaster that will allow you to see what the current track playing in the Balkan Jukebox. Another IMing pervert, another MST *sigh* Scanned in several new drawings. Be sure to also check out my Signal in the Sky fan fic page for additional art pertaining to that story. Still making improvements in the RPG portion of the site, including essays Feycat wrote on Plundarrian/Thunderian culture, improved profiles and a rules update. They're not rewrites, but rather I started adding some links to pics of characters and drawings within the story -- not all chapters are done yet, but I'm working on it. Thanks to Feycat for the idear! April 4th, 2003 I've been an updating fool! I've done some tweaking here and there, and also updated the rpg section of the site with a new character's profile and March's game room posts. The tag board is back on its own page...check it out. March 17th, 2003 Added a few capture galleries for eps 'All that Glitters' and 'Spaceship Beneath the Sand.' For those who haven't seen them in my Live Journal, I posted the massive MSTing of Ronnie's uber-script in the MST zone. Put up a few new banners for anyone wanting to link back to this site. Added a page for the fandom awards, which are now being voted on until March 31st. If you haven't been to the Yahoo Group to cast your votes, do so now! March 3rd, 2003 It's still a little buggy, but I made a brand new message board with php script. Yay. Changed the color scheme and otherwise tweaked it. Put up fresh fan fic from Knight Writer and RD Rivero. Made available downloadable text files for each month of game posts from the RPG. Which is handy given ezboard automatically deletes old posts. February 24th, 2003 Uploaded new and improved yahoo skins. Put up two new art galleries in the ThunderArt section. Tons of fan fic uploaded in the guest fic section including those from Knight Writer, Red Lioness and RD Rivero. A coupla of new MSTs await you. I'm so happy! :) A new addition is waiting in the MST zone. Owning Ronixis repeatedly in the BP is only enhanced by adding the mock-up of his script to the mst page. February 3rd 2003 Added a Voltron avi list to accompany the others, as I've downloaded a few Lion eps. Finally got my latest chapter up...yippie! 16 down, a zillion to go! Also check out the picture book on my fic epic's main page. Put up some fics by others, including work by a new writer, Knight Writer, and two more from RD Rivero. January 23rd 2003 Put up a new ThunderPoll. Vote for the site layout to next grace this page. I won a few more awards and upgraded BKingKat's. Added a Bravenet sponsored Classified section where you can post up ads selling or requesting ThunderCats goods. This is the only link to it aside from the site map for now. January 3rd, 2003 I won another award, though it's perplexing just *why* hehe. Likewise, check out the latest winner of the Cheering Purrsia. The Retrospective issue of the TE Bulletin is out! Big news for a new series as well as looking back on 2002 among the hilights. Added a special section to my art gallery. It's for the naughtier bits and includes the spread I did just for Zhie's January Artist of the Month feature. Threw up a few captions I was mailed. Added an amusing little piece of puritan flame mail to my MST page.
