C.H. Trengove Reveiwed by: Purrsia  The Mutants swoop in and shatter a peaceful day in the Warrior Maidens' Treetop Kingdom. After a fierce fire fight, Willa is captured and thrown into the Flying Machine; she's carried off to Castle Plundarr. Meanwhile, Lion-O and Panthro notice the Kingdom on fire on the Lair monitors, so they round up the others and head out to the rescue in the ThunderTank. The 'Cats make short work of the Mutants but things aren't wrapped up as tidy as they usually are - Nayda informs them that the Mutants have taken her sister Willa hostage! It's decided that Tygra will go to the Castle for the rescue, as he can turn invisible. However, Nayda insists on accompanying him. Tygra uses his powers to make both he and Nayda invisible and they simply walk up to the Castle and knock on the door. They walk right past a puzzled Jackalman and have a little fun with him. Then Tygra picks up a decorative skull (only the mutants would run such a motif in their home lol) and proceeds to spook Jackalman by making him believe a ghost will haunt them until they release Willa. Jackalman rushes to Willa's holding cell - the 'spirit' in tow - and let's her out. Tygra shoves Jackalman into the room and slaps the skull on Jackalman's head before he leaves. They run into Slithe and Monkian on the way out but easily dispose of them thanks to the invisibility advantage. After escaping the Castle, Tygra is disturbed to find his whip doesn't have the power to bring himself and Nayda back to visibility - apparently making two people invisible over-powered the darn thing. Nayda is a bit distressed at the notion of going through life unseen. While they're pondering the cure for invisibility, the Mutants are mounting their vehicles in hot pursuit. Their efforts to recapture Willa fail. When Vultureman lands, he's tossed into a tree by Tygra who then mans the Flying Machine so he can attack the other Mutants. Jackalman freaks out when he sees the vessel is unmanned but Slithe reminds him unkindly that it's likely Tygra. Slithe and his cronies are shot down, and Lion-O is there to confront them. However, thanks to a cheap sword trick he's able to call the other Thundercats to the rescue. With the help of the invisible duo, the Mutants are run off for good. But, the permanent invisibility is still a problem. A problem that is, until Lion-O uses the Sword, in a display of awesome power, to bring them back to normal. The rest was full of the typical philosophising and bad puns that plague most episode endings. This ep was also a great exercise in rampant Mutant stupidity...makes one wonder why they're even on the radar as a threat. But it was kinda comical heh heh. Lion-O used the Sword to make a protective bubble around himself - *and* it levitated him above ground - while he called for help in the traditional way. Damnedable uber tool strikes again! Capt Shiner: Great moment where Vultureman wanted to stay and fight but the others all run off. Identifying the V-man as the bravest one! Zack: I think the funniest part about this episode was when tygra lodges the skull on jackelman's head. LMFAO it cracks me up everytime I mean the skull zips to YOUR FACE likes its after you! XD
