Danny Peary Reviewed by Brandon Tomblin (aka Alluro Fan) Site: TF Archive as Jhiaxus Email: king_sexy18@hotmail.com ![]() Mumm-Ra has the Mutants come to his pyramid for his usual lecture on how stupid and worthless they are. He then has the Mutants look into the cauldron to see that Lion-O has taken up rock climbing, since apparently, the Mutants don't provide enough danger for the great Thundercat lord. Mumm-Ra then says that he'll give the Mutants one last chance to get the sword for him, or else he'll destroy Castle Plunn-Darr and banish the Mutants from Third Earth. The Mutants arrive at the mountain when Lion-O reaches the top and attack him with guns that shoot Thundrainium. While being shot with the Thundrainium guns, Lion-O uses the sword to call to the other Thundercats. Panthro and Tygra arrive in the Thundertank to assist Lion-O. During the battle, Lion-O and Jackalman fall off the mountain while struggling for the sword. Meanwhile, Panthro, Tygra, Slithe, and Monkian cause an avalanche and retreat to a nearby cave. However, the falling rocks seal the cave shut and their air supply begins to dwindle. Elsewhere, Lion-O and Jackalman fall off a waterfall while their fight for the sword continues. Lion-O is knocked out when they reach the bottom, which enables Jackalman to steal the sword from Lion-O's claw shield. Back in the cave, Panthro and Tygra make a truce with Slithe and Monkian to work together to try to get out of the cave before their air supply runs out. However, the 2 Thundercats are doing all the work, while Slithe and Monkian just sit and watch. The Mutants plan on attacking Panthro and Tygra as soon as they get out of the cave, since Panthro and Tygra will be too tired to fight back. Meanwhile, Lion-O wakes up from being knocked out by going over the waterfall and realizes that Jackalman has taken the sword. He sees that Jackalman is far above him and then goes to chase him down. Jackalman reaches the cave where the Thundercats and Mutants are trapped. He tries to use the sword to free them, but since he is evil, it won't work for him. Lion-O shows up to get the sword back from Jackalman. Then the sword apparently decides to have some fun with Jackalman by making him fly all over the place while the sword's in his hands. The sword and Jackalman then come back to the mountain and gets stuck on the edge. Lion-O saves Jackalman from falling off the mountain and reclaims the sword. He then usues the sword to destroy the boulders that are blocking the cave entrance and frees the Thundercats and Mutants, just as their air supply runs out. The Mutants then go to use their Thundranium guns on the Thundercats, but come to find out that Panthro and Tygra unloaded their Thundrainium cartridges. Before the Thundercats can lay a finger on them, the Mutants flee in their usual cowardly way. While riding back to the Lair, Lion-O asks Panthro and Tygra to not mention the day's events to Snarf, so that nobody will get a lecture about "looking after the lord of the Thundercats". Not much to say except I'd give this one a 5 insignia rating...love it, Love It, LOVE IT! GRUMPYNZ: Haha what a fun episode! Pertence a sword a Lion-O. Tive pena que já não dava na televisão portuguesa. leppardra: I love this episode too. It ranks as one of the best as far as story goes. Save for that one moment in the cave where Tygra turns around, I also love how the story is animated. Lion-O is rendered great here. Sleek and muscular with that extra touch of sexiness and vulnerability. Just the way I like him! Caswin: Thundercats. Mutants. They fight a bunch.
