Great Holy Jaga! This 'sode rawks!!

Lion-O is able to avoid being crushed by Monkian’s Fist-Pounder. Snowman warns Monkian to stop the tank's fists before they cause an avalanche, but it’s too late. The Mutants retreat for the moment as Lion-O is buried in the avalanche and is seperated from his sword while Snowman and Snowmeow look on helplessly. Snowman and Snowmeow are able to find Lion-O in the avalanche, but he is trapped in ice and notices that the sword is missing.

Lion-O then manages to call the sword to his hand and the sword frees Lion-O from his icy prison. Once Lion-O is freed, he uses the sword to call for help. Tygra and Cheetara see the signal in the sky and begin racing towards Hook Mountain in the Hovercat and Thunderclaw. However, before Lion-O’s help arrives, the Mutants return for another attack. Lion-O is able to grab ahold of Slithe’s Sky-Cutter and knocks the reptilian pilot into a ravine and takes over the one-man figher. Soon afterward, Tygra and Cheetara arrive to help. Tygra sees the Sky-Cutter and thinks it’s Slithe, so he starts firing the Hovercat’s lasers. Before Tygra can destroy the Sky-Cutter and Lion-O with it, Lion-O uses the sword to let his friend know that it is him and not Slithe.

Lion-O, Tygra, and Cheetara then land their vehicles and Tygra apologizes for attacking his friend and Lion-O explains how he comondeered the Sky-Cutter from Slithe. Lion-O then explains that he plans to go to Mumm-Ra’s pyramid in order to find out what Mumm-Ra has done with the Thunderians. Lion-O then leaves Hook Mountain on the Sky-Cutter and Tygra and Cheetara get back on their vehicles as well. Elsewhere on Hook Mountain, Snowman and Snowmeow are chasing Jackalman in his Nose-Diver. He hides behind a rock while Monkian takes over in the Fist-Pounder. Monkian is about to defeat Snowman and Snowmeow when Panthro arrives in the Thundertank and sees that his friends could use some help. Panthro and Monkian then have a tank-tank battle when Ratar-O and Vultureman show up in the Rat Star. Panthro sees the Rat Star and tries to find cover for the Thundertank so he’ll have a good chance of fighting the huge ship. However, the Thundertank doesn’t move fast enough and is blasted by the Rat Star’s cannon, much to the dismay of the captured Snarf, who thinks that Panthro has been destroyed.

Elsewhere on Hook Mountain, Jackalman is helping Slithe climb out of the ravine he fell in. Since Lion-O “borrowed” Slithe’s Sky-Cutter, he now has to ride behind Jackalman on the Nose-Diver to get to Fire Rock Mountain to meet up with Captain Shiner. The two Mutants arrive at FRM later on on the Nose-Diver and Shiner makes a joke about the two Mutants being a “pretty pair”. Slithe then starts to go apeshit (or is that lizardshit?) on Shiner for the joke, but Shiner quickly calms him down and presents the Thunderians to him. The Thunderians are awake now, but are very weak, thanks to the affects of the Thundrainium. Shiner and his crew then leave FRM aboard the Vertis so the two Mutants can take the prisoners to their cell.

While inside the cave, the Thunderians begin regaining their strength, due to the fact that there is no Thundrainium INSIDE FRM, just around it, and they attack the two Mutants and try to find a way out of the cave. However, the blind Lynx-O takes a wrong turn and ends up in a dead end. He is found by Slithe and is then knocked out and put in a cell. Bengali and Pumyra find him, but when they enter the cell to get their friend out, Slithe quickly shuts the door and locks them inside. Bengali and Pumyra think that all hope is lost, but Lynx-O tells them that he has a plan to escape, but they’ll wait for the proper time to use it.

Meanwhile, Lion-O arrives at Mumm-Ra’s pyramid aboard the Sky-Cutter and enters the pyramid. Mumm-Ra sees Lion-O’s entrance through the cauldron and has Ma-Mutt to go attack him. The dog meets up with Lion-O in a hallway. Lion-O tries to just ignore the dog and continue on to Mumm-Ra’s chamber, but Ma-Mutt is not a dog to take no for an answer. He turns into a giant fireball and starts chasing after Lion-O. Lion-O then falls through a hole in the floor and lands on the floor below. Ma-Mutt then goes after him and blows a green gas in his face. Lion-O has had enough of the dog, so he places him in a sarcofigus.

Lion-O then makes his way into a hallway that is filled with standing mummies, which Mumm-Ra has kept prisoner for who knows how long. The mummies’ wrappings then come to life and chase after Lion-O. Lion-O opens a door ahead of him, but before he can go all the way through it, the mummy wrappings grab him and pull him down to the floor. The door then falls on Lion-O’s hair. Before he can cut himself free, the mummy wrappings engulf Lion-O and mummify him.

Canon Facts of Note:

It's pretty clear Thundrainium effects Thunderians, not just ThunderCats. However, it's been a source of debate among the fandom for years about just why Grune was never effected by the substance in "Ghost Warrior" - and before you say 'it's because he was a ghost'...so was Jaga ;)

Purrsia's Two Cents:

So what was that green gas Ma-Mutt emitted? The ultimate in bad dog breath? lol And I knew that giant red 'fro would get Lion-O in trouble someday ;)
