Not bad, but not fabulotastic neither

Lion-O and Snarf are enjoying a day outside Cats' Lair by themselves while the other Thundercats are out taking the Feliner for a joy ride. Suddenly, Lion-O notices a spaceship entering Third Earth's atmosphere and he and Snarf run into Cats' Lair and investigate. A giant green alien ship appears outside of Cats' Lair and Lion-O gives it warning shots from the Cats' Lair eyes and radios for the ship to leave. The ugly green half robot, half scorpion alien inside is known as a Territor. The Territor freezes Lion-O and Snarf in their place and enters Cats' Lair to talk to them. He explains that he is not evil and that he is seeking help to destroy his enemy, the Kymerra, who's people have attacked his and severely damaged the Territor's population. However, since the Territor looks so ugly, Lion-O and Snarf assume he is evil and tell him to leave Cats' Lair.

Before the Territor can respond, another spaceship enters Third Earth's atmosphere and the Territor leaves the Lair and flees in his ship. Lion-O and Snarf go outside the Cats' Lair to see a beautiful golden spaceship land before them. A beautiful golden robot in a green robe exits the spaceship and introduces himself as a Kymerra. He gives Lion-O and Snarf the same story that the Territor told them earlier, only the Kymerra says that the Territor attacked his people, instead of the other way around. Since the Kymerra appears nice and friendly, Lion-O and Snarf believe his version of the story.

Without warning, the Kymerra attacks Lion-O and Snarf and runs inside Cats' Lair. Inside, he locks the doors and turns the Lair's defenses on Lion-O and Snarf. Lion-O then uses the sword to call the other Thundercats to come to the aid of Snarf and himself. Lion-O manages to get inside Cats' Lair and chase the Kymerra out of there. As the Kymerra takes off in his ship, he is blasted by the returning Territor ship. The Territor lands and talks with Lion-O and the other Thundercats. Lion-O appologizes for the way that he and Snarf treated the Territor earlier and then vows to no longer judge somebody based on their appearance.

Quick comment: When all of a sudden did the Thundercats decide to copy
Masters Of The Universe and want to try to teach us something in an
episode?

This episode also reminds me of those old G.I.Joe Public Service
Announcements. That now makes three 80's toons that tried to teach us
life lessons. At least Transformers refrained from that for the most part.
Remember kids, monotony is half the battle!

Purrsia's Two Cents:

Heh heh, fer sure. While ThunderCats often had some wholesome lesson worked in, they really hit you over the head with it here. I do like when Snarf makes some remark about what a freak show the Territor looks like, to which the Territor replies that the same could be said of Snarf. Mwahahahaha, touche you little furball >:)
