Ratar-O and the Mutants salvage parts of the Rat Star to create the Mu-tank, which they used to tow the Rat Star back to Castle Plun-Darr for repairs. At Cats' Lair, Snarfer is telling Snarf about the Planet of Snarfs. Snarf tells Snarfer that he will live there with Snarfer, since he feels that the Thundercats don't need him anymore and that he is getting old. Meanwhile, the Thundercats are working on the Feliner at Cats' Lair. However, before they can return Snarfer to the Planet of Snarfs, Panthro explains that they first need a hyper-space mega-condenser to make space travel possible. Snarf then gets the idea that the Thundercats should steal the one on the Rat Star (which in my view, contradicts the whole code of Thundera). Lion-O agrees and the Thundercats go out in the Thundertank to look for the Mutants and the Rat Star. Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra is watching the events through the cauldron and realizes that the Mutants don't even know that they have the part that the Thundercats need. Mumm-Ra then plans to get the mega-condenser for himself, so that he can use it to lure the Thundercats into a trap. He then transforms into his Ever-Living form and leaves the pyramid to find the Rat Star. Meanwhile, the Thundercats meet up with the Mutants at Castle Plun-Darr after the Rat Star has been towed. Lion-O decides to try to bargain with Ratar-O, but the Mutants don't go for it and attack the Thundertank in the Mu-tank. During the fight, Lion-O, Snarf, and Snarfer go into the Rat Star to look for the mega-condenser. However, Mumm-Ra got there before them and has the mega-condenser in his possession. Mumm-Ra then tries to fly away from the Rat Star, but Lion-O uses the clawline on his claw shiled to attach himself to Mumm-Ra's cape. They both fall to the ground and Lion-O uses the sword to get the mega-condenser away from Mumm-Ra. Mumm-Ra then retreats, vowing to win one day. Ratar-O then challenges Lion-O for the mega-condenser and Lion-O defeats him as well and the Thundercats take the mega-condenser back to Cats' Lair. At Cats' Lair, Snarf reveals to the others that he is going to live on the Planet of Snarfs with Snarfer. Lion-O tries to convince Snarf to stay and that he is still needed, but Snarf refuses. Panthro, Cheetara, Snarf, and Snarfer board the Feliner and lift off to take Snarfer back to the Planet of Snarfs, making Lion-O sad to know that his most loyal companion is gone. However, as soon as they take off, Snarf changes his mind and decides to stay with the Thundercats afterall. I have to agree...for a snarf, who is supposed to be incapable of evil, to suggest stealing anything is bizarre and for Lion-O to agree is most definitely anti-Code.
