Great Holy Jaga! This 'sode rawks!!

Lion-O, Panthro, and Snarf run across Jackalman in a forest. As usual, he's after the sword. The lone Mutant is beaten by the Thundercats, but not before he knocks old Snarf into a river. Lion-O and Panthro get Snarf out of the river and the 3 start walking back to Cats' Lair. By this time, Snarf has a bad cold (I know. I don't care either). Panthro jokes with Snarf that he'll make him his own Sword of Omens, so that he can fight the Mutants whenever he wants. Lion-O then asks Panthro if he really can make a replica of the Sword of Omens. Panthro says that he could, except for the Eye of Thundera.

Back at the Lair, Panthro has made a replica of the sword. When Tygra asks why it was done, Lion-O tells Tygra of a joke the he's decided to pull on Mumm-Ra and the Mutants. Since they want the Sword of Omens so badly, the Thundercats will leave the Lair for a day, so that the Mutants can break in and steal the fake sword from the sword room. All the Thundercats have to do is spread the word that the Lair will be empty, except for Snarf, who is sick (Again, I care not that Snarf is sick).

Wilykat and Wilykit go out and Wilykit pretends to wreck her spaceboard next to a cave of Trolocks, who are spys for the Mutants, as long as they are paid for their information. The Trolocks hear from the kids that the Lair will be unguarded, except for the sick Snarf, while everyone else is at the Berbil Harvest Festival. The Trolocks then go to tell the Mutants. At Castle Plun-Darr, Monkian and Jackalman decide to go to steal the fake sword by themselves, without Slithe and Vultureman. At the Lair, Snarf, who is now wrapped in a blanket, sees the arrival of the 2 Mutants on the viewscreen and goes to hide.

Monkian and Jackalman break into the Lair and make their way to the sword room, where the fake sword lays. Snarf is hiding in the sword room, watching the Mutants take the fake sword. As they get ready to leave with it, Snarf lets out a big sneeze and is discovered by the 2 Mutants. He tries to run away, but gets caught. They wrap Snarf up in his blanket and decide to take him back to Castle Plun-Darr.

Meanwhile, Lion-O and Panthro are out riding around in the Thundertank, when the sword gives it's warning signal. Lion-O uses the sight beyond sight to find that the Monkian and Jackalman have captured Snarf and that the joke has backfired. Lion-O and Panthro then set out to attack Castle Plun-Darr and to get Snarf back. Meanwhile, Monkian and Jackalman are walking through a forest with the captured Snarf and the fake sword, when they come across Slithe, who takes Snarf and the sword away from the 2 Mutants. He tells them to go back to the castle, while he goes to sell the sword to Mumm-Ra. Slithe arrives at Mumm-Ra's pyramid with Snarf and the sword. Mumm-Ra almost pees himself when he sees the sword, but Slithe says that he can only have it if Mumm-Ra shares the secret of the pyramid's power with the Mutant. Mumm-Ra refuses and changes into his Ever-Living form. He then scares Slithe out of the pyramid, as he takes the fake sword for himself. He doesn't notice that Snarf gets free from the blanket and hides behind one of the statues.

Meanwhile, Lion-O and Panthro arrive at Castle Plun-Darr in the tank and attack Vultureman, Monkian, and Jackalman. When the 3 Mutants are defeated, they tell the 2 Thundercats that Slithe has taken Snarf and the fake sword to Mumm-Ra. The 'cats then leave for the pyramid, but not before they make the returning Slithe jump off the bridge that leads to the castle entrance.

Lion-O and Panthro arrive at the pyramid, but Mumm-Ra uses his magic to stop the tank. Lion-O then uses the sword to call the other 'cats to come to them. Lion-O then enters the pyramid and rescues Snarf and faces off with Mumm-Ra. When Mumm-Ra tries to summon the power of his sword, he discovers that a mirror is used for the Eye of Thundera, and it returns him back to his mummy form and he retreats to his sarcoughigus. The Thundercats then return to the Lair, where the sick Snarf suggests that Panthro and Tygra build him his own Thundertank (God, you suck, Snarf). Tygra then threatens Snarf to get back in bed, or else Tygra will give him a nice ass beatin'. Snarf wisely scurries along to bed.

Purrsia's Two Cents:

I thought the animation on this ep was kinda sloppy. And I wish Snarf would get rickets, rabies, scurvy and malaria and die. hahahaha. And dammit...why does Mumm-Ra always get defeated in such a cheap, stupid way...why??
