Chris Trengove Reviewed by: Purrsia  Mumm-Ra calls Luna to his Pyramid to go over his latest plan. The plan is for Mumm-Ra to take the guise of Jaga the Wise and appear before Lion-O, hoping he'll believe "Jaga" when he warns that the new ThunderCats are planning something trecherous against the "true" Thundercats. Lion-O doesn't seem to notice that "Jaga's" eyes glow red the whole time, and makes a note to himself to be on the lookout for any signs of aggression from the other 'Cats. Mumm-Ra's next move is to change into the form of Turmagar the Tuska and pay a visit to the Tower of Omens. The new Thundercats never question why Turmagar's eyes glow red, but jump at the chance to help him save his land once again from the 'forces of evil'. Lynx-O tells the others to take the Thunderstrike and meet the other Thundercats at a particular location, while he alerts the others of this plan. 'Turmagar' tags along in the Thunderstrike. Panthro, Cheetara, Snarf and Lion-O are at the Lair when Lynx-O's transmission comes through with his suggestion of meeting the others already en route on the Thunderstrike. Panthro is ready to go, no questions asked, but Lion-O stops them. He explains that this must be a trap, and tells them about Jaga's appearance to him. The others are incredulous, but Lion-O reminds them that Jaga is never wrong. They go anyway, leaving Lion-O behind, but proceed with caution. Sure enough, when they arrive, they mistakenly think the n00bs fired on them from the Thunderstrike, not knowing that it was "Turmagar" that fired the shot. Panthro decides it's time to teach those "turn-coats" a lesson and a battle ensues with Thundercat pitted against Thundercat - just as Mumm-Ra planned. While they're fighting, Mumm-Ra quietly slips away. Now this is where he needed Luna and her Lunatacs to come in. While the others have their cat fight, the Lunattacker strikes at the Lair with Lion-O proving no match for Tug Mug and his gravity carbine, though he does manage to hold him and the other Lunies off long enough to call for help. Meanwhile, Chilla ices the Tower of Omens along with Lynx-O from the Ice Runner and she and Alluro easily take over that stronghold. Of course, the evil forces are each secretly plotting to oust the other once the Thundercats are out of the way. Lion-O sends up the signal, hoping the 'Cats will stop fighting long enough to help. It works, as the signal prompts them all to explain what really happened. The 'Cats decided that they all goofed and rush off to help Lion-O. They arrive just in time to drive the Lunattacker and its occupants off, with only the Lair worse for wear. But there's still the situation at the Tower to take care of, so Lion-O sets off with Pumyra and Bengali to rescue Lynx-O. Indeed, Mumm-Ra, Chilla and Alluro have Lynx-O held prisoner, mocking him for being helpless without his light shield. Meanwhile, Lion-O and Pumyra have grappeled up the side of the Tower and burst in, bumping into Chilla and Alluro enough to knock them over. Faced with the Thundercats, Mumm-Ra orders the Lunies to destroy them. However, they abandon the mummy. A brief fight ensues, but Lion-O triumphs with the help of Lynx-O's discarded light shield. Where were the Thunderkittens and Tygra you might wonder? On a field trip of all things. Pumyra: Come on out Cheetara and let's fight woman to woman. Or are you scared? Cheetara: Scared?
