ThunderPoll Archives 2003

Poll results for the week of January 19th, 2003 -- I've gotten an urge to overhaul the site again. Please vote on the new layout you like best:

Seems how you, the visitor, have to suffer the layout/navigation of the site, I'm leaving it up to you to vote for the new style in which this site will eventually be done in. Below are the new layout designs to vote on...keep in mind that not all links will work within them, and not all images have been optimized for fast download yet. Judge them mainly on the look and general design. All are best viewed at 800x600 resolution.

1. 5 works best for me :) -- Servali, the silly serval
2. I think the site looks amazing as it is! It's really funky!...but if u wanna overhaul it, then I think number 3 was cool....ChristopheD
3. Number 5 isn't bad at all, but the black on red is kinda hard to read, and it loads slower than the others. Number one is kinda cluttered; the others are all right, but not great, more worthy of -well, of a Stainless Steel Meat Tenderizer than a Silver Cleaver. ; ) ~Ax
4. I gotta say, I'm surprised to see 2 has such a big lead! I figured 3 and 5 would be the two most popular...shows what I know :-p I was going to do one in frames, too, but got burned out and lazy. Anyway, Thanks Ax for that input. I optimized (i.e. crunched) the images in Layout 5 so it should load faster, plus I made the text areas more faded and hopefully easier to read. I can also make the text-area backgrounds a color other than white, too, if that proves to be too much of a problem. So, everyone, keep voting and feel free to give feedback on how you think a given layout could be improved upon. The pages provided are mere general samples and can be further modified to make them more user-friendly :) -- Purrsia, voting as "Other" as not to mess up the stats ;)
5. I acctually expected layout five to be popular not layout two! But what the hell. I like it, I like it.
6. Gotta give it to five, really nice one (even tho it's not in the lead) all you gotta do is add the bits you missed, like the Cheetara shrine, Cheetara's best moments, Cheetara's story archive and of course Cheetara's dedication page... prolly need to get them dne soon eh Purrsia? ;) - DTD/Hoax
7. I actualyl like it as it is, but layout 3 is cool too. That pic of Lion-O on I THINK layout 4 is cool but i dn;t like the rest of it. (Him with the sword) - Al
8. Number 5 it is...expect to see the site take on that look in the months to come -- and hopefully stay that way for a while! -- Purrsia

Comments:
1. I think that five installments are enough. If the comic gets into a formulaic round of five and six parters people will get tired of of it and the comic will die again. That's how Marvel killed the comic in the first place. Doing too many adaptations, and making the original stories well...not so good. Except for issue 7... that one was great! Only if they had injected Bengali, Lynx-O and Pumyra like they did in Great Britain.
2. Looks like there's some mixed results to this one, lol! Though, if you put together the "more the merrier" votes with the "do both" votes, there's a majority that wish for The Return to continue. Interesting! -- Purrsia

Poll results for March 22nd, 2003 -- If you haven't read #3 of the Return yet, the question is kinda a spoiler -- you might wanna skip it til ya do ;)

1. Aye, we shall have to wait and see, no? -- Purrsia
2. I'm curious to see how they'll be animated and voiced. I'm hoping for the best, lol.
3. If they mess up Mumm-Ra, I'm gonna hunt them all down and chop off they protruding parts of they bodies and feed them to my pet alligator! *pant, pant* Okay. I'm better now. Really. ~Demonprist
4. If it's done like the new He-Man, and is updated with out straying too far from the original concept, it should be pretty good. We'll just have to wait and see. -- Essex
